Two ITAM students receive first place and honorable mention in the Financial Inclusion Essay Award

We congratulate the students of Master in Applied Economics, Marco Antonio Ramos Juárez and Mayra Samantha Cervantes Bravo, for obtaining first place and honorable mention, respectively, in the Financial Inclusion Essay Award.

Marco Antonio, got first place through his essay: ¿Brecha de género o sesgo por variables omitidas? - Un análisis de métodos cuasiexperimentales sobre la inclusión financiera en México. 

Also, Samantha Cervantes obtained the honorable mention with the essay: Entendiendo a la demanda de crédito formal en México: un análisis de sus determinantes y la oferta en la población de bajos ingresos.

Both were awarded on June 24 by the National Council for Financial Inclusion and allies, when they announced the winners of the Financial Inclusion Essay Award through the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), in collaboration with institutions such as CIDE, ABM, CONCAMEX, among others.
