Scholarships and Financial Aid

ITAM has a limited programme of credit scholarships for those students which are distinguished in their studies and whose family economic situation merits it.

There are also a limited number of credit scholarships from the Bank of Mexico. Said scholarships apply exclusively for the tuition costs. To obtain independent funding from the same institution, interested candidates must contact the Educational Credit Fund of the Bank of Mexico in:

On the other hand, there is also the possibility to contact other institutions such as the John D. And Catherine T. MacArthur, William and Flora Hewlett and Ford foundations, which offer complementary scholarships to Mexican and Central American citizens to realize Masters and PhD studies in the social sciences, both inside and out of their country of origin. The Master of Applied Economics has financial aid for foreign students, which is offered in function of the score obtained in the quantitative section of the GRE.

Once prospective students are admitted to the programme, they might present their scholarship request.
